Well I have managed to do it. I've been invited to the Leet Drone Club. I don't think I'm breaking any rules of Leet Drone Club by mentioning Leet Drone Club, but the only people who will read this will probably only be my Mum and my Dog (thanks for that Dave).

Giving away 1/10 Racing.... again.
It is off topic, but there might be people interested.
So I've decided to stop racing my RC Car. The format is changing next year, apparently it's what the other participants in the F1 class want. Not sure who that is of course as Rob, Luke and Daniel are all fans of the 2 x 8 minute races we currently run. We get to leave at about 9pm. Instead they going to make it 4 x 4 minute races so it will be 10:30pm when we finish. As the 4 of us are the actual racers that turn up each week, I wonder how long they'll be racing the F1 class there.

Can't beat them....Join Them!
Well I've given the CX-10A link to some of the guys at work. They've all bought them. They also bought the pack of spares. At the moment, we can have 6 drones flying around. It is crazy. Some pilots fly better than others of course but these things are great fun for a bit of downtime.

Ooops with the CX-10A
So the CX-10A has arrived and it is a blast. With 3 of these nano drones flying around the office when it gets quiet (or during lunch) it is crazy. The turbulence from another drone when it passes over yours is surprising, as is the air displacement when someone makes a low-level pass above your head.

A place to start
Well 2 of the guys in the office have bought some "Nano Quads". Their price point was around the $35 mark and I was interested initially, but sceptical.
They bought the bright orange Skeye Nano Drone. After 3 or 4 weeks they arrived. Oh boy are they tiny or what!?! Easilly small enough to fly inside they were both buzzing around the office, and with a charge time of what seemed like 10 minutes my interest was increasing. A simple plug into the USB port on the PC and they're up again in no time. Flight time was about 5 minutes I think.
