Ooops with the CX-10A

So the CX-10A has arrived and it is a blast.  With 3 of these nano drones flying around the office when it gets quiet (or during lunch) it is crazy.  The turbulence from another drone when it passes over yours is surprising, as is the air displacement when someone makes a low-level pass above your head.


I took mine home and showed my 3yr old daughter.  She thought it was great until I flew it too close to her and it instantly turned her long blond hair into dreadlocks.

OMG Holy Shit What Have I Done?

2 things ran through my mind.  

• I'm in trouble if I can't get this thing out without cutting her hair.
• I'm in trouble if she dobs on me.

My daughter has no secrets or any kind of filter.  I'm in trouble, but hopefully only once.

"Let's get this thing out.  Let's be brave, it isn't actually attacking you.  Haw Haw Haw this is a little bit funny isn't it!  Not quite funny enough to tell Mummy though, I don't think she'd laugh."

I managed to pluck it out with only a small amount of hair still stuck.  Only 2 props actually came in contact with the hair while still spinning.

I guess it could have been worse.  Whew!
